Client: Crock Productions for Mercedes McLaren Grand Prix Dinner
Brief: Live stage painting of the two F1 race cars during a celebration dinner at The Crown Palladium Ballroom
Outcome: Each of these fabric canvases was approximately four mt wide. Soula, Theo and a small team painted from behind the screen so the paint bled through the fabric and the image revealed itself to the 1,000 guests.

Days before the dinner the Crock Productions team projected Soula’s drawings, in their massive Richmond studio onto the two fabrics so she could use her sketches to create the outlines of each car. She numbered each and every bit and corresponded the numbers to buckets of her pre mixed paint.

And the highlight (as if they needed one), both Juan Pablo Montoya and Kimi Raikkonen greeted Soula and Theo and signed the canvases before they went back to their rooms in prep for the next day’s Grand Prix… they missed the party!!
